360 Labs Hosts Successful Junior Engineering Course Part 1 Workshop
On a sunny Saturday morning, young engineering enthusiasts gathered at Home Tree Coworking for the Junior Engineering Course Part 1 workshop organized by 360 Labs. The workshop aimed to introduce kids under 18 to the exciting world of engineering and technology, helping them develop essential skills and knowledge for the digital age.
NIA, The national innovation Agency, and Nethila, the youngest CEO in Sri Lanka and founder of Masterpreneur, joined 360 Labs in organizing the event. Together, the organizers provided a fun and engaging learning experience for the young participants, who got to learn about various engineering concepts and principles through hands-on activities and group exercises.
One of the highlights of the workshop was a session on IP rights and kids’ innovations. 360 Labs’ experts explained the importance of protecting intellectual property and how kids can safeguard their inventions and creative works through patents, copyrights, and trademarks. The participants also learned about the legal and ethical aspects of innovation and how to respect the rights of others in the field of STEM.
The workshop covered topics such as robotics, electronics, and coding, giving kids a taste of what it’s like to be an engineer or a programmer. The participants also had the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the organizers, who shared their experiences and insights into the world of technology.
The event was a huge success, with many of the participants expressing their enthusiasm and interest in pursuing a career in engineering or technology. 360 Labs plans to organize more workshops and courses in the future to help young people develop their skills and pursue their passions in the digital age.
